We’ve all experienced it – in a fraction of a second you recognize
a face: it may be a black and white photograph of Jacqueline Kennedy
Onassis, or a bust of Winston Churchill. Incredibly, of the billions
of faces on earth, and in history, each is different from the others
in its detail, and recognizable as unique. At Prime Productions
we use the latest computerized processes to produce commemorative
busts from live 3D scan data. We strive to produce the most exact
reproductions possible. Data from an on-site digital scan goes to
a 3D printer having precision within six thousandths of an inch.
Later, details such as hair, or eyeglasses, are finished by professional
sculptors. The 3D print becomes the model for bronze casting, employing
the lost-wax method – a process thousands of years old. The completed
bronze casting has a patina, a colored finish, applied and is appropriately
mounted to a base for display. Skilled artisans, working together,
transform digital data into a remarkable and enduring work of art,
as unique as the living person.
The best bronze busts must exhibit an excellent likeness, and
Prime Productions will deliver in every detail. As technology changes,
we continue to use state-of-the-art methods. A bust from Prime Productions
is certain to be a remarkable representation of the actual person.
Does your organization wish to honor a founder, donor, or an
outstanding achiever? If so, Prime Productions can create an unforgettable
means of marking their contribution in a universally appreciated
form.
